Cloud Gehshan Design created an extensive wayfinding signage system and master plan for the Diplomatic Quarter, a prominent embassy district and affluent residential neighborhood in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I was responsible for designing the wayfinding maps displayed on the signage throughout the district and managing the bilingual nomenclature for the entire wayfinding project.

I created and maintained the master spreadsheet that tracked all bilingual content (60+ embassy names and their respective countries’ languages, street names, landmarks, gardens, and amenities), which served as the central reference document shared between my design team and the client. This required compiling data from incomplete sources (outdated client files, previous maps, satellite imagery, and mapping tools) and verifying all Arabic translations through iterative client review.

The project required adaptability as content evolved through client feedback, and design decisions were made with careful consideration of cultural context. Through close collaboration across teams and with the client, I ensured the nomenclature was consistent and accurate across the entire wayfinding system.
