The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federal initiative that supports low-income pregnant women, infants, and young children (up to age 4) by providing essential food and nutrition resources. Each state administers its own WIC program to meet local needs.
For Maryland WIC, I developed a series of informative booklets focused on nutrition at each developmental stage covered by the program. Each booklet contains English and Spanish versions and incorporates WIC’s brand colors, along with other complementary tones, to create a fun and cheerful color scheme. Maryland WIC provided the copy in both languages.
These booklets help communicate essential nutritional information to a diverse audience of caregivers and families across the state.
